When I was but a child, my mind was filled with God’s awe and grace.
Around age seven I began to feel my mind expanding its knowledge base.
A tiny observer of the world around my parents was biblically trained.
They taught me diligently from the Holy Bible the Word I had obtained.
Many thought I was not brought up well and a normal life I was deprived of.
But true lasting inner peace only comes from the Heavenly Father above.
In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition.
With thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God for fruition.
It’s called the way of salvation as it’s a process that takes time,
through justification, sanctification and glorification are over a lifetime.
Being young my mind was not into material things being easily misled.
Salvation is in three tenses past, present and days in the future ahead.
All my so-called friends tried to influence me daily to misbehave,
Not me, I have been saved, you are being saved, and you will be saved.
Future salvation and the completion of the process totally free from sin,
I crave for the most it’s when we are with Jesus and God can use us within.
My teddy bear was there to protect me through the dark and cold of night.
I would hold you close beside me and squeeze your body ever so tight.
I would tell you all my inner secrets about school and mishaps of the day,
I would often whisper in your ear; Please Lord teach me how to pray.
Christ through the presence of the Holy Spirit now lives inside of me,
and He grants me the power and determination to be totally set free.
You would take me to that place so free, full of peace and fun,
and the pain wouldn’t hurt, through praying it was all but gone.
So now that I am wiser, much older and the fears of life have faded too,
I turn to books not TV so much, as my life and reality aren’t really true.
Our soul has to be fitted to the sky and no one is perfect apart from One,
We are a Pilgrim in-process and Jesus Christ will truly never be outdone.
You’re still here to protect me with a hug, a fluffy eye missing or two,
My favourite little bear, we made it Jesus Christ thanks because of you.
