Jesus proof He is God and the Godhead

Part four

The prophets point the way

Having sold around 6 billion copies until now, The Bible is the best-selling book of all time. The prophets Malachi and Isaiah both portrayed an incredible picture of Jesus Christ, God incarnate who would come:

Mark 2:3-4
As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my (messenger) before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee. The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. John did baptise in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.”

John came baptising in the wild a voice crying in the wilderness. The wilderness is a picture of the earth that is not in perfect harmony with God. Malachi announced a herald who would be sent by God:

Malachi 3:1
“Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.”

This was to prepare a fallen race for the coming of Jesus Christ. John the Baptist was a very special person he was a messenger on earth in human flesh. The word angel comes from the Greek word aggelos (pronounced angelos), which means messenger.

Some English translations of the Bible also translate malak, the Hebrew word for messenger, as angel when the malak is from God. Sharing a message from God is the primary role of angels in Scripture. In this case, a human malak was sent to light the way in John the Baptist. The Lord comes after the messenger arrives at His temple, (temple in Jerusalem) that Israel has been seeking for.

The Lord is the messenger of the Covenant of Israel. This implies a person of the Godhead showing up who is not the Father or the Holy Spirit, but an Angel (messenger) of the Lord proclaimed all throughout the Old Testament. This messenger, (Jesus) is one with Him in essence claiming to be God and can do only the things that God can do. The Lord (Jesus) is coming to His temple of the Covenant. The word Lord is interesting, every time it appears in the Hebrew Bible, it always refers to Jehovah and no one else. For example:

Isaiah 1:24
“Therefore saith the Lord, the Lord of hosts, the mighty One of Israel, Ah, I will ease me of mine adversaries, and avenge me of mine enemies.”

Isaiah 3:1
“For, behold, the Lord, the Lord of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of bread, and the whole stay of water.”

The temple was built for the worship of Him, not a creature.
Which person of Jehovah?
It’s not the Father or the Holy Spirit but Jehovah or Jesus.
1 Chronicles 29
“Furthermore David the king said unto all the congregation, Solomon my son, whom alone God hath chosen, is yet young and tender, and the work is great: for the palace is not for man, but for the Lord God.”

Isaiah 40:3-5
The voice of him (John the Baptist) that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, (Jehovah) make straight in the desert a highway for our God. (The God of Israel Jehovah) Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain: And the glory of the Lord (Jehovah) shall be revealed, (not a creature) and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the Lord (Jehovah) hath spoken it.”

The (Word) comes out of Jehovah’s mouth, who is the Word of God?
Jesus Christ Jehovah our Lord. If we go to the argument that God exists in the first place, then the universe had a beginning. There was a beginning to space, time and matter.

Why did a starting point for space, time and matter happen?
There has to be a cause for nothing to produce something.

If morals come from nothing then how did nothing become suddenly intelligent?
Whatever created space, time and matter, can’t be made of space, time and matter. If that’s the case then the cause must transcend time, space and matter. The cause has to be spaceless, timeless, immaterial, powerful to create something out of nothing, and personal to make choices. To make a decision requires a mind to make a choice. If you see the evidence for Jesus’ resurrection which is vast, then you can say maybe the same being with the same nature walked out of the tomb thousands of years ago. The design of the universe is too precise to be by chance and for chemistry to work. There would be no universe if one factor were slightly out to support life.

Why is there life at all if there is no purpose for it?
There are billions of people who are walking testimonies of God’s creation, touched by the third person of God the Holy Spirit. With this in mind are billions of people all crazy cultists?
Human’s natural birth was brought forth by the means God granted our parents. The spiritual birth is brought forth by the means God has in His own power, and also given to us individually, namely faith in His sin Jesus Christ. In natural birth, we have no part, but in spiritual birth we become whole.

If there is one thing morally wrong, then there has to be one thing morally right.
If there is no God then everything is just a matter of opinion.

Standards and laws have to be in place by a lawgiver. Any standards below the lawgiver God we would have to call evil. Everyone knows the Ten Commandments would solve all the problems today if it was followed to the letter.

If the multiverse theory is real, it suggests that there is no meaning beneath our universe’s rules, other than random chance.

When zillions of universes are made where did they come from? with zillions of fundamental rules to them, some will have that rare set of rules that have the attunement to allow life, hence there must be a lawgiver.

Was there a universe-creating mechanism that came by chance out of nothing?
The multiverse does not get rid of the need for a beginning.

Where did the first life come from?
If macro-evolution is true it only shows us how subsequent life forms come into existence.
It does not point to where the universe came from, the first life came from, morals, mathematics, fine-tuning or natural laws that are so consistent.
