Why Jesus was not switched on the cross?
Why does the Quran teach that God deceived mankind and Jesus didn’t die on the cross?
Muslims believe that Lazarus was raised from the dead, but they don’t believe that God can raise his Son from the grave.
Jesus’s mother saw Him on the cross, are you saying His mother didn’t recognise it wasn’t Him dying in agony?
If Jesus was switched then this is contrary to the Bible, if a truly holy and righteous God would partake in (deception), (lies), and (trickery). God is not the author of confusion. But look just how confusing Islam is believing in a conspiracy theory.
Blind faith is going to lead anyone into trouble, no matter what belief you have. If Allah is all-knowing, merciful, and just then why would he deceive or allow deception in the crucifixion knowing that in doing so, billions of people in the future (Christians) would give their lives to Christ, and be condemned to hell for whom they thought was God but was ultimately deceived?
Would the Roman centurions or Pilate, allow Jesus to be removed from the cross if he wasn’t dead?
Some Muslims teach that Judas, not Jesus, was crucified on the cross, in a case of mistaken identity, yet Judas committed suicide before the crucifixion.
Judas is not mentioned in the Quran or the Hadith to look like Jesus. Would Allah allow a disciple to look like Jesus and kill Him?
Why not just have Jesus die, why the need for someone else?
1st, 2nd, and 3rd-century scripts do not teach that Judas was switched on the cross. These notions were traditions that came into notion much later than the true events of the cross. Jesus’ followers went around that Jesus was killed, raised from the dead, and appeared to them before He went to heaven. This is recorded in the gospels, earliest records, and the letters of Paul.
Historians go to the earliest sources to examine the life of Christ. The historical method is then applied not later traditions. Even atheist scholars attest to Christ’s being killed on the cross as a historical fact with evidence to back it up. His followers saw Him alive (physically) and taken up into heaven (physically) thus they preached this fact. Atheist scholars may not believe in the resurrection but the cross is no doubt.
Christ’s followers all but John died for the belief that Christ was crucified. There is no reliable evidence not to say otherwise to Muslim scholars. You can’t just have faith that’s blind, there is also faith in facts, that leads people to take further steps in faith.
Some Muslims argue it was Judas, some say one of the disciples, and some say one of the Roman soldiers was made to be Jesus on the cross.
Other Muslims teach that Jesus was not killed by crucifixion but survived because He swooned and was resuscitated.
The Quranic sūra The Women 4:157-58 says that Jews claimed to have killed and crucified Christ but denied that they did so. Rather, the verse says, ‘it was made to appear to them so.
“And [for] their saying, “Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus the son of Mary, the messenger of Allāh.” And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him, but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumptions. And they did not kill him, for certain.”
This verse states that He was crucified but did not die by crucifixion. It appeared to the Jews that He did die by crucifixion, but maybe He passed out and was revived later on.
The Jews didn’t kill Him boasting but certainly the Romans did. There are 27 Christian books from the first century with no contradictions, that all agree Jesus was crucified and raised physically, yet six hundred years later on confusion and contradiction came into being, changing the very belief system of Muslims to contradict the Bible and say it’s corrupt.
When Allah handed down the same Bible and the Quran instructing Jews and Muslims to use their books?
Jesus was confirmed by eyewitnesses Peter, John, the remaining members of the Eleven, Mary Magdalene, Mary mother of Jesus, Mary of Clopas, and Salome, often identified as the wife of Zebede, Roman Soldiers, Two Criminals, the Roman Centurion, Chief Priests, Jewish Leaders, scribes, elders, or rulers, Sanhedrin, a crowd gathered, Joseph of Arimathea, and many others.
The followers Allah said “Were believers and were empowered to be victorious.” So did Allah deceive the disciples and the hundreds of witnesses, allowing the empowered to go out and lie about the resurrection of Christ?
Then apart from John, they all were martyrs for their faith. Would you willingly die for a lie, yet Jesus is alive physically in heaven according to the Quran?
John 10:17-18
Therefore* doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have (power) to lay it down, and I have (power) to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.”
The literal interpretation from John is as follows: Jesus chose and volunteered to die, and I will allow myself to die, and then raise myself back because no one can take it away from me. God the Father did not kill or murder His Son like some have said, by the hands of sinners.
This showcases Agape love, giving believers hope from His physical resurrection that death is not the end, and He will be back to wipe away all tears with the gift of everlasting life if you repent and believe in Me.
Jesus rose to give Muslims (physical) proof of His resurrection by the empty tomb.
The Quran has no proof of eternal life as it’s just a man who died telling Muslims confusion and contradiction.
