The Holy Trinity – Poem

The flesh is like God the Son because Jesus Christ took on human flesh.

The seeds are like God the Holy Spirit because through Him we grow in stock,

Each of the parts of an apple are different but they interlock.

So are the persons of God all different Father, Son and Holy Ghost,

Yet they are ALL God so we we worship them as the triune heavenly host.

Within the Being that is God, there is three co-equal and co-eternal selfs,

The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit each relates to itself.

Each is a distinct person known as God the Father, the Son and the Ghost,

They are a family called the Godhead or supreme heavenly hosts.

The Son was made flesh and He was born under the Old Testament Law.

This is why in His humanity Jesus prays to the Father that was foresaw.

In the beginning was the Word (logos) and the Word was with God but was God,

He hovered over the land yet untrod.

The Word is the one who brought all things at creation into being,

The Word is Jesus Christ, Elohim, the living God and the all seeing.

We can picture the holy trinity another way to understand,

The Lord God is one yet He is Elohim three, but He is the same beforehand.

If we take a jug of water as a picture of God that is His original state.

If we try to hold the water in our hand we can’t handle it that great.

If we try to take the water by hand to the door it can’t properly be grasped,

In His original state humanity can’t comprehend Him or clasp.

So if we take the same water and now want people to discover Him more,

The same water is frozen for thirty three and a half years outdoor.

But what is it really? Its water the original form.

It’s in a different state therefore the name changes but it’s still uniform.

That’s why he who has seen the ice has seen the water,

Or he who has seen the Son has seen the Father.

He said I am going away but I will return soon and remain in you,

I am with you but I will change my form to be one inside you.

So you take the ice and you place it carefully in the kettle.

But this kettle is a metaphor and not made of metal.

On the day of Pentecost a mighty rushing wind blew into the place,

And they saw fire and tongues came upon the disciples face.

Suddenly they were filled with steam from the same water in that hour,

They were told to wait in Jerusalem and they would receive holy power.

When you put steam in a locomotive the wheels start moving and turning,

You shall receive power by the Holy Ghost that will help your discerning,

You shall be witnesses to Me and unto all the nations,

You shall bring deliverance with the power of the Spirit to My creation.

Yet they are all water.

Jesus said I will return the ice back into the water to my Father above,

The same water that descending in the form of a dove.

The same glory I had from the beginning shall be restored,

Water going back to water so three in one is restored.

The Son is seated at the right hand of power interceding for the saints,

While the steam (Holy Spirit) is still working hard with no restraints.

The Holy Spirit has a position and purpose on the earth at present,
